Wow...

She dances to EVERYTHING! Omeira has picked up the dancin bug! She dances to everything! Seriously. I think she might hear music in her head cause when I don't hear anything, she is dancin! I poured some rice crispies for her and was dunkin them in the milk andshe started dancin to the 'snap crackle pop'! I think sometimes she dances to the noise of the a/c and the washer...really anything she hears...or doesn't hear. It's pretty funny!

yep, didn't get any better...

So, looks like I am just as terrible at "blogging" now as I was before! So much for getting better. Here is a little update of our family. David finally graduated from Texas A&M and we have moved to the Dallas area...to my sister's house! We had a place and the day before we moved (uhaul packed and all) it fell through. So, we are in the process of getting a different place and should be in, I'm guessing, by the middle of August. David has started his own business and it is going very well. I am almost 20 weeks pregnant with a little boy and we are so excited! We wanted our first 2 kids to be close in age and we got our wish. Omeira Shea is now 10 months old and has been walking for over a month. She started taking steps at 8 months and became a full walker at 9 months old. She is very much enjoying her aunt Heather and uncle Jake. We got rid of the pacifier on Monday and she is doing so well with out it. I had prepared myself for a rough week or 2 because she relied so heavily on that stupid thing to get to sleep. She has never cried herself to sleep as many kids do and I was terrified that she would never sleep again! I have let her cry for at least an hour before WITH her pacifier and she wouldn't fall asleep! She has surprised me though! The first time I put her to sleep without it was for her afternoon nap and it was tough. She cryed...alot, and I cried a little! It took her an hour to get to sleep with me going in there several times to comfort her. Since that one time, it has been so much easier. Only a few days later, I do not need to go in and comfort her anymore and she only cries for a few minutes before getting quiet and falling asleep! I am SO proud of her! Anyways, this was a little longer than I thought. Pictures will follow soon, hopefully.

Oh yeah...GO MAVS!!!!!!!!!!!

So, we have a wonderful person in our ward named Emily Brenner who takes beautiful pictures. She took some pictures of our family and thought I'd post some of them. It was way past Omeira Shea's bed time and she was cutting her first tooth, so she wasn't in the best of moods but the pictures still turned out cute.

The one below makes me laugh cause she looks like she could be Junie Browning's offspring!

P.S.--Thank you Rory for showin' me how to blog the right way!

So, turns out, I am REALLY bad at this blogging thing! I have looked at several other people's blogs and it made mine look terrible! People actually write on their blogs more than once every 8 months! So, I'm gonna try to be a little bit better!

Anyways, Omeira Shea has just turned 8 months. She has been crawling since before she was 6 months old and and has been pulling herself up on things for about a month now. She stands on her own for short periods of time but doesn't know shes doing it, so she doesn't get all that excited about it yet! She is still way too much like her mom and can be really mean! It's funny to me but not to the kid with the scratched up face! She is beginning to refuse baby food and bottles and is only wanting real food that she can mash on. If I try to feed her baby food, she grabs the spoon and will not give it back. When I pry it from her hands, she looses it and WILL NOT eat! She's a mess, but we love her and am glad she has a personality!

David and I have been preparing to move and start a different part of our lives! We will be moving in about 2-3 weeks and are very excited. David is getting ready to start his new business and I am ready for all of this stress to be minimized! Hopefully that will happen soon. In the meantime, I will continue to pack up all of our crap into boxes!
